My watercolor palette
Well-loved, well-used

This folding palette is currently my workhorse. It's been a busy bee lately! I'm working on a project that is new to me and will be done soon (hopefully by tomorrow). Along with all this colorful goodness, I've also had to replenish some of my favorite pens. I love them so much that several of them inconveniently ran out on me. Good thing someone had to return a pair of headphones to the store yesterday and that place wasn't all that far from the art store. Quite the coincidence, don't you think so? I came away with a few new ink pens and a couple of brush markers plus a nice big sheet of Fabriano Hot Press paper that I've been wanting to try out.

My husband claims that I always have some ulterior motive for wanting to go with him to do some errands. Well whatever does he mean by that? Just because we happened to eat at one of our favorite places and then pop on over to the art store doesn't mean it was all pre-planned. Right?

Everyone just nod your heads.

Thank you.

Just like you I never have an ulterior motive... Just a tag along. No more than that....

  2. oh, a great and beautiful blog you have here. I couldn't resist to not only bookmark but also read it fully. ;-)

your last sentence told me that you were just searching for perylene green! it looks very natural and mixes beautifully with about any colour.

as for the husbands: they always seem to see hidden motives, pfff. it is just a woman's way of clever thinking that tries to make every way in(to) town a fruitful one. everything comes together naturally, here his demands, then a dinner, and oh, the art store is just on the way, great! it would be stupid to not go there when you just NEED something. (I always /NEED/ something, hrhr.)

Julie, it's so good to see you here. This reminds me that I need to keep up with my blog again. And yes, the husbands sometimes see our hidden motives. ;) Mine is already suspicious when I suggest places to eat that are close to the art store. Hahaha.
